New Update for Art Scene: Aiming to Help You ‘Meet More Friends’
Today, we’re excited to announce a major update in the Art Scene app that will change the way you connect with your art-loving friends.
Our latest feature, ‘Meet More Friends’, is quite the disruptor in the app scene. How so, you might ask? Well, in a world where apps are designed to keep users confined within their interfaces, we’ve gone against the grain, pushing users to step out and into other platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and SMS.
This move has been inspired by a simple, yet profound realization – friendships should not be confined to a single app. They should be free, fluid, and permeate through every interaction you have on the internet. We believe in the possibility of creating genuine bonds, not just app-based connections.
But like any new feature, our ‘Meet More Friends’ update is not without its challenges.
First, our current design has too many separate locations for users to update their profile and settings. While we believe in providing flexibility to our users, we also understand the need for simplicity and intuitiveness in design. As a result, this is an area we are keen to refine in our subsequent updates.
Secondly, we’ve identified that there’s no clear way for users to unfriend people or cancel friend requests within the app. We’re actively working on this issue to provide more control to our users over their connections.
Furthermore, we recognize that the process of adding Instagram, Twitter, and SMS information to a user’s profile could be more seamless. We are committed to improving this aspect of the UI for the benefit of our users.
Lastly, we’ve noticed that friend requests are not as noticeable within the app as they should be. After all, no one likes to keep a friend waiting! This is something we’re eager to change in our next update.
