Art Scene Disrupting the Market Through Inclusion

Art Scene (formerly AI Art Advisor), the next-generation art discovery and evaluation app, is disrupting the art market by combining cutting-edge technology with deep insights into art and aesthetics. Our proprietary "artistic quotient" machine learning system helps users discover their unique taste in art and navigate the art market with confidence. With Art Scene, collecting art is no longer limited to the elite few - our app is democratizing the market and making it accessible to everyone.

App Updates from December 2023 to April 2024

App Updates from December 2023 to April 2024

In November, Budget Collector’s team was accepted to their first equity accelerator, NexCubed. During that time, we were focused on building an accessory tool to our app that fulfills our vision: “to build the interconnected technological framework for the entire art ecosystem.”

However, we made a few updates to the app to work with our accessory tool, Museum Advocate, with several more updates planned as soon as possible.

Groundwork Updates (Dec 2023 – Jan 2024)

We created a new on-boarding process that allows us to get more useful consented user data. We also removed gate-keeping processes such as requiring a password to be remembered. In addition, we removed the user paid for AI Art Advisor.

New Revenue Model Update (Jan 2024 – Apr 2024)

We created a “Museums Near You Feature” and showcased a non-functioning Museum Match button on the artistic quotient page. In the meantime, we have been working with the Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art to be the first museum capable of being matched on our system. We also showed a new prototype for this software to several other museum staff and consultants with consistently rave reviews.

More User Interaction & Competition (April to Present)

We created a ranking system to be viewed on the artistic quotient page, where users can see the top three users who have ranked items the most.

Our Future

Looking ahead, we are planning a major app redesign. This will require the support of more museums as part of our new revenue model, where museums contribute to funding, enabling free consumer access to the app. The more museums that join, the more resources we will have to enhance the consumer app experience.

What I’m most excited about is a possible art travel experiences through the app. I love that Ana Berry went to Columbia to enjoy fine art. With members from over 100+ countries, we see a tremendous opportunity to create personalized art travel experiences that explore new international regions. This initiative will not only expand our global art community but also enhance our users’ engagement with art in unique and immersive ways.

How You Can Help

We need your support to grow our network of museum partnerships. Please encourage your local museums to consider joining our Museum Advocate program. Together, we can make art more accessible and engaging for everyone.

Thank you for being a part of our community and for your continued support in revolutionizing the art ecosystem!
